Terms
Terms of Service
Effective August 20, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Arc of the Return ("Arc," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using Arc, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
Arc is a decision-support service designed to make a bounded, read-only pass over information you authorize and present possible next moves, waiting items, and saved references. Arc does not send, delete, archive, or modify Gmail messages through its Gmail read-only integration.
Arc is evolving and may be offered as a beta or preview. Features, classifications, availability, and plan boundaries may change. Arc’s output may be incomplete or incorrect and should be reviewed using your own judgment.
Eligibility and authorization
You must be at least 13 years old and legally capable of agreeing to these Terms. If you use Arc for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to do so.
You may connect only accounts and information that you are authorized to access. You are responsible for maintaining control of your accounts and for activity initiated through them.
Acceptable use
You may not:
- use Arc unlawfully or to violate another person’s rights;
- connect an account without authorization;
- attempt to bypass access controls, probe for vulnerabilities, disrupt the service, or introduce malicious code;
- scrape, reverse engineer, or copy the service except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- use Arc to build or train a competing model or service without written permission; or
- misrepresent Arc output as a guaranteed fact, professional conclusion, or action Arc has completed.
Your information and feedback
You retain your rights in information you provide or authorize Arc to access. You grant Arc a limited license to process that information only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service as described in the Privacy Policy.
If you submit feedback, you permit Arc to use it without restriction or compensation, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission.
Plans and payments
Some Arc features may require a paid plan. Prices, billing intervals, and included features are shown before purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe and may also be governed by Stripe’s terms. Unless otherwise stated at checkout, subscriptions renew for the displayed billing interval until canceled.
You may request cancellation or billing assistance by contacting ej3434@gmail.com. Except where required by law or expressly stated at checkout, fees already paid are non-refundable.
Third-party services
Arc interoperates with third-party services such as Google and Stripe. Their services are governed by their own terms and policies. Arc is not responsible for third-party services, changes, outages, or actions outside Arc’s control.
No professional advice
Arc provides organizational and decision-support information, not legal, medical, financial, tax, employment, or other professional advice. Do not rely on Arc as the sole basis for high-stakes decisions.
Intellectual property
Arc and its software, design, branding, and service content—excluding information you provide—are owned by Arc or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant only a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service.
Service changes and termination
We may change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of Arc. We may limit or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these Terms, comply with law, or operate the service. You may stop using Arc at any time and may disconnect Gmail through the service.
Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ARC IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” ARC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ARC AND ITS SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE. ARC’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID ARC IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Arc changes. We will post the updated Terms here and revise the effective date. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
